Obituary of Adeline Marshall

Adeline Marshall, 94 of Toms River, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was born August 27, 1920 in Newark. Growing up in Nutley, she lived in Belmar with her husband Donald E. Marshall, Sr. until they moved to Toms River in 1949. Adeline and Don owned and operated the Blue Bird Pet Shop. Adeline also worked as a secretary at the Chadwick Dance Studio, the Balint Dance Studio and the Dance Connection. She is a Life Member of the Toms River First Aid Squad. Adeline is a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Toms River. She was predeceased by her husband Donald E. Marshall, Sr. and her son Donald E. Marshall, Jr. Surviving are her son Ken Marshall and his wife Edie; her daughter, Kathie Stawder and her husband Ed; daughter in law Kathy Marshall; six grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Friday, July 24, 2015, at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
