Obituary of Muriel Catherine Chorbak

Beloved mother, grandmother and friend.. Muriel Chorbak, 79 of Toms River, NJ died Friday morning after a long battle with Cancer. A native Brooklyn resident who resided in Toms River after the 80's. She worked as an Executive Hostess for Bristol Myers for 18 years. She then worked as a Demo Coordinator at Sam's Club, Freehold before retiring in 2010. She was an animal lover who enjoyed cooking for her family. Muriel spent her spare time with her Shiatsu, Teddy. She cherished the Holidays spent with her daughters and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Deborah White and Catherine Chorbak; her four grandchildren, Diana Kaziu, Stephanie White, Gary S. White, Jr., and Taylor-Rose White; and a soon to be great-grandson. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00am Tuesday, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
