Obituary of Matthew M. Forkan

Matthew M. Forkan, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the age of 26. Born in Neptune, NJ, he grew up in Toms River where he graduated from Toms River High School South in 2007. Matthew worked in the service department at DCH Nissan in Freehold. Matthew's wit, kindness, sense of humor, and infectious laughter will be forever missed. He was predeceased by his mother Nancy Lawrence Forkan in 1999. Matthew is survived by his father Neil Forkan; his step-mother Valerie Giovine; sisters Kelly Ryan, Jackie Giovine, Victoria Giovine; brother Anthony Giovine; uncle Martin Forkan and his wife Nannette; nephew Brayden, and many other aunts, uncles and close friends. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Friday, May 8 from 6:00pm until the service time at 8:30.
