Obituary of Tessa Tymothi Montague

Please share a memory of Tessa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tessa Tymothi Montague, 21, formerly of Beachwood and Pemberton, tragically passed away in her Mountain City, Tennessee home on April 2. Tessa was a 2012 graduate of Toms River High School South and had also attended classes at Pemberton Township High School. After graduation she attended classes at Ocean County College. Tessa most recently was a much loved employee at McDonald's in Mountain City. Previously she enjoyed working at Spenser's Gifts and Casino Pier in Seaside Heights. Her passions included having good times with her family and friends, singing, and experimenting with hair and make up. In her spare time Tessa could often be found making videos of herself singing covers of popular songs. One might just as easily find her creating dramatic looks for herself, her friends, and occasionally, even her cat. She also loved cheerleading. While in High School she was a member of the AYC National Champions, Jersey Shore Senior Stars. Whatever she was doing, she was putting her full heart and soul into it. Tessa is proceeded in death by her younger brother, Christopher Heerschap, her Step Father, Phillip Frey, and her paternal grandfather, Arthur Montague. She is survived by her mother, Lynnedae Montague-Frey and her partner Rodney Yanvari of Beachwood, her father, Mark Heerschap and his wife Sharon of Summerville South Carolina. Also surviving are sisters Aryn Montague of Ocean Gate, Elizabeth Montague of Beachwood, Heather Small of Lakewood, and Emily Heerschap of S.C, and brothers John and Gabriel Heerschap of S.C., maternal grandmother, Lynda Mountford of Beachwood, paternal grandparents, Walt and Judy Heerschap of Mountain City, TN, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial celebration to honor Tessa's life will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Saturday from 3:00pm till the service time at 4:30pm. Letters of condolence may be sent by visiting www.kedzfuneralhome.com.
